Thoughts about friend vs coach
The video detailed a walk with a recovery professional to a hospital where they seemed to meet with clients and the blog detailed the intent of the recovery coaches position in the lives of clients and recoverees. The take away I will speak on is that it's very reassuring to see that the friendship that may transpire between coaches and clients are the higher calling and that the coach should hold themselves to a higher standard to carry the messages of hope and tolerance in recovery.

Did you find the form helpful?
The form helps to categorize ideas and really deconstruct scenarios. I like to process the case study in sort of reverse order. I find that the last question really helps to direct the most positive outcome in where we align ourselves with a common good it's easier to identify which outcomes are not equitable for everyone involved.

‘we are ethically obligated to care for ourselves’
It's clear that having adverse health issues and malignant health habits can prevent our success in the workplace. It can affect our performance and ability to adequately serve and establish a presence for the clients who need us. Further there is an obligation that to carry the message we need represent our best selves to carry a message of hope and bring dignity to the field.
