What are some troubleshooting techniques that you used or learned from the module learning activities to troubleshoot computer network issues? These may be techniques that may or may not be included in the text. As you will learn, not all textbook fixes are the best fixes for selective issues. Please explain your logic in your technique.

in the event of planning a soho network some things to consider may be
list of requirements
cable length
device type/requirements
environment limitations
equipment limitations
compatibility requirements

some common wireless issues to consider are:

interference
signal strength
configurations
incompatabilities
incorrect channel
latency
encryption type
bounce
SSID mismatch
incorrect switch placement

network and switch issues that may require troubleshooting include
switching loops
bad cables/improper cable type
port configuration
mismatched MTU/ MTU black hole
power failure
bad/missing route
bad module(sfp gbic)
wrong subnet mask
wrong gateway
duplicate ip address
wrong dns

and the general steps to troubleshoot network issues are
Test the theory to determine cause
Once theory is confirmed, determine next steps to resolve problem
If theory is not confirmed, re-establish new theory or escalate
Establish a plan of action to resolve the problem and identify potential effects
Implement the solution or escalate as necessary
Verify full system functionality and if applicable implement preventive measures
Document findings, actions, and
