Ranier beer was founded in 1884 in Seattle Washington. For six-teen years the beer was brewed locally until the company Stroh's bought it out and later sold it to Pabst Brewing Company. Eleven years after Pabst Brewing company closed their business and stopped making Ranier beer Emerald City Company bought the place out and started to produce the beer again. Currently, the beer is produced north of the Spokane Street Viaduct. Today Ranier beer is doing well in business thanks to the great taste and price.
